MCT oil - the brain boost you've been looking for?

MCT oil can help boost brain function and promote weight loss, making it the ultimate multitasker.

Have you walked down the Whole Foods aisle, came across MCT oil, and wondered, “what the heck is this?”

Well, let’s take a look at it together.

Based on my research, I found that MCT oil is a type of oil that is made up of medium-chain fatty acids. These fatty acids are easily digestible and can be converted into ketones, which can be used as an alternative energy source for the brain.

MCTs can be found in coconut oil, which is processed by the body in a different way. Unlike other fats, they go straight from your gut to the liver. They are then used as a source of energy or turned into ketones, which your body will use instead of glucose or sugar.

hmmm…well let’s give it a try!

I’m on week 2 and here’s my personal review…

I have started my mornings by adding 1-2 TBS of MCT oil to my morning coffee. What I’ve noticed is that I stay fuller and I’m more focused throughout the day.

I’ll say that adding supplements to my meals, such as MCT oil has made me feel more energized, focused, and less stressed.

So, let’s discuss some of the benefits

Benefits of MCT Oil

MCT oil has a number of potential health benefits for women. Here are a few examples:

  1. Weight loss: MCT oil may help with weight loss by increasing feelings of fullness and reducing appetite. It may also help to boost metabolism and increase fat burning.

  2. Improved brain function: MCT oil may help improve brain function by providing an alternative energy source for the brain. This may be especially beneficial for people with Alzheimer's disease or other neurological conditions.

  3. Improved gut health: MCT oil may help to improve gut health by supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive system.

  4. Reduced inflammation: MCT oil may help reduce inflammation in the body, which can be beneficial for many conditions, including arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.

  5. Improved cardiovascular health: MCT oil may help to improve cardiovascular health by reducing cholesterol levels and improving blood pressure.

Mom, go ahead and give it a try! I would add about 1-2 TBS daily to your tea, coffee, juice, or smoothie. Easy way to get more nutrients into your meals.

As with any supplement, it is always a good idea to talk to a healthcare provider before adding MCT oil to your diet, especially if you are pregnant or nursing. It is important to note that the potential health benefits of MCT oil are still being researched and more studies are needed to fully understand its effects.

Enjoy!

May the divine light shine within you.

Namaste!
